Watch this YouTube video by Quazi Johir and learn why you may not be getting the results you desire despite all your efforts.
Quasi: Recently, I came across this quote by Naval Ravikant: “The older the problem, the older the solution.” You see, I’ve been on a personal development journey for the last eight years. One of my main goals was to leave my full-time corporate career and manifest time and financial freedom.
Now, as I thought about what that actually meant for me, I decided on a specific number to make it more concrete: making 20K a month while living the laptop lifestyle. Like everyone, I tried everything under the sun. I began learning about dropshipping, trading, affiliate marketing – basically taking massive action every single day. But nothing quite felt right.
Then, the realization occurred to me that maybe I wasn’t seeing the right opportunity because I wasn’t aligned correctly. Something about me needed to change. I tried all of the mindset work, morning routines that are two hours long, meditation, affirmations, hypnosis – jumping up and down like a madman. But nothing changed. I was still convinced that this internal obstacle had something to do with how my mind was programmed.
You see, I was never programmed to be an entrepreneur. I was programmed to be a nine-to-five corporate slave. So, I went deep into research mode and realized that to solve this age-old problem of the mind, I had to find an age-old solution. My search led me to ancient cultures and their teachings. To my surprise, every single culture and old tradition I looked at mentioned one thing: the art of visualization.
Yoga, Eastern philosophy, Taoism, Hermeticism, Kabbalah – they all used visualization in some form to align with their goals and manifest their desires. Everything changed for me when I learned how to visualize properly. Over the last eight years, amidst a plethora of practices, visualization was the one that made all of my dreams come true. I was able to quit my soul-sucking corporate career, start my own business, grow it to seven figures, and live a life I’m truly passionate about.
I even grew a YouTube channel to almost 500,000 subscribers, met the woman of my dreams, got married, and now we’re having a beautiful baby boy together. Some days, I wake up in utter disbelief – is this really my life or just a dream? But I promise you, if you master just one technique – how to visualize properly – and do it consistently for a period of time, you will see changes like this happen in your life as well.
In today’s video, I’m going to share with you how to effectively visualize and create your own personal visualization system. There are three main parts to this, and by the end of this, I’m going to share with you a free downloadable cheat sheet that will allow you to implement this for yourself. So, let’s jump right in.
Visualization Techniques:
Let’s begin with understanding what visualization is and why it’s crucial in moving you towards your goals. In hermetic teachings, there’s a quote that says, “As within, so without.” Hermetic work dates back thousands of years, emphasizing mastery of the physical, mental, and spiritual planes. It suggests that everything is contained within the “All,” a space that holds all possible combinations of reality or quantum events.
When we visualize, we attune ourselves to a specific sector of this “All” space. For example, if I think and feel a certain way – like believing I’m only worthy of my current salary and lifestyle – I’ll manifest that reality because I’m attuned to it, much like an antenna tuning into a specific channel. The key is mastering visualization to align with the reality we desire.
Outer action, on the other hand, involves physically manipulating reality to make things happen. But outer action is limited to what’s directly in front of us. To influence future outcomes or quantum events, we need interaction, which includes inner and outer intention.
Inner Intention: This is our personal resolve to take action.
Outer Intention: It’s our intention that unites us with the world and co-creates with the universe. It’s about doing things from the perspective of our ideal selves.
Now, let’s explore the three main parts of visualizing reality:
1. Goal Visualization: Choose a specific, slightly unrealistic goal to achieve within a year. Visualize the outcome, but don’t focus on the “how.”
2. Process Visualization: Visualize yourself engaging in the daily habits and actions that will lead you toward your goal.
3. Intention: Develop a strong intention and resolve to achieve your goal, knowing it’s guaranteed to happen.
Next, we’ll discuss the concept of the ideal self:
Ideal Self: This is the version of you that effortlessly achieves your goal. To embody this ideal self:
- Define five superpowers your ideal self possesses.
- Define five key habits your ideal self practices daily.
- Consider your ideal self’s sense of style and how you dress.
Now, the final part: embodiment. To embody your ideal self:
- Ask how your ideal self would perform tasks and make decisions.
- Make decisions aligned with your ideal self’s choices.
- Pretend to be your ideal self and practice being that person.
Incorporating these techniques into your life requires mindfulness and consistency. To further assist you, I’ve created a free cheat sheet that you can download from the pinned comment below. I hope you find this information valuable in your personal development journey.

In conclusion, remember that visualization is a powerful tool that can help you align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with your goals. By combining goal visualization, process visualization, and strong intention, you can shift your reality and achieve the outcomes you desire.
Additionally, embodying your ideal self and consistently acting from that perspective can accelerate your progress toward your goals. It may feel like you’re “faking it” initially, but over time, you will become the person you aspire to be.
